Bachelor of Arts, Music, Percussion, Music Academy “Gh. Dima” of Cluj-Napoca, Romania
AWARDS:

1992: 1st prize of the Composer’s Union at the International Festival of Contemporary Music, Bucharest, with the Percussion-ensemble G.Dima, Cluj-Napoca1998: 2nd prize, National Festival of pop music -Mamaia, Romania2002: 1st prize as cimbalom player, National Festival of Folk Music ”Jidvei”.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Member of the Percussion ensemble of the Music Academy, directed by professor dr. Grigore Pop;percussionist at the State Philharmonic Orchestra “Transilvania”, during the period of academic studies ( 5 years);ethno-musicologist at the “Research Center Of Folkloric Traditions” in Bistrita (I made meantime several musical orchestrations for more recordings of traditional songs and Romanian carols).percussion professor at the High School of Art, Bistrita ,official musician and composer for Senso TV- Bucharest, Romania

COMPOSITIONS:

PERSONAL PROJECT:

He created the first and unique instrument: the electro-acoustic cimbalom, with eng. Marius Buta and Ada Filimon
